Grantmaking

Feeding America

A $14.1 million grant from the Elevance Health Foundation to Feeding America’s Food as Medicine program is helping address food insecurity, a key driver of health. To date, the program has reached over 500,000 people.

Impact Investing

Loans to Address Social Needs

A $10 million commitment by the Elevance Health Foundation will provide access to inclusive and affordable financing for purpose-driven businesses that focus on advancing health equity.

Associate Community Engagement

Million Meal Movement

To kick off the 2024 Elevance Health Volunteer Days initiative, Elevance Health associates joined Lions Clubs International and the Million Meal Movement to package shelf-stable meals for neighbors experiencing food insecurity.

The Elevance Health Foundation has recently exceeded its three-year, $90 million commitment.

To ensure that we have the best approach to improving the health of the socially vulnerable in our communities going forward, we are refining our strategy.

For nearly 25 years, we’ve been committed to, connected with, and invested in communities across the country. Since July 2021, the Elevance Health Foundation has awarded $97.3 million in grants, providing funding to over 12,000 nonprofit partners across the country.
