Dollars for Dollars
Elevance Health associates give generously to health-related nonprofit organizations across the country through our Dollars for Dollars program with a 1:1 match from the Elevance Health Foundation. In 2023, more than $6.3 million was raised.
Associates can also donate to the Elevance Health CARES Fund to help colleagues who need financial assistance because of disasters or personal hardships.
Dollars for Doers
The Dollars for Doers program encourages associates to volunteer year-round—and helps them further commit to their communities by offering rewards that the associates can direct to charities they choose.
Through the volunteer efforts of Elevance Health associates, 2023 was a record-breaking year. With over 225,000 hours in virtual and in-person service, associates generated more than $1.7 million in Dollars for Doers rewards that were distributed to community nonprofits.
Elevance Health Volunteer Days
Each fall, our associates and leaders join in a season of service. The Elevance Health Volunteer Days program, made possible through a partnership with Lions Clubs International, has engaged more than 14,000 volunteers, who have donated 36,000 hours of service in hundreds of projects benefiting two million Americans since 2015

Volunteer Time Off
Elevance Health offers time off to help associates support organizations that are important to them. Because many such opportunities occur during work hours, allowing full-time associates to use the Volunteer Time Off program allows more of them to help. Eligible associates receive up to eight hours of paid time to volunteer at qualified charities of their choice.
Volunteer Recognition
Throughout the year, Elevance Health associates are invited to share their volunteer stories and personal reasons for giving back, as well as to nominate their colleagues who go “above and beyond.” The Elevance Health Foundation recognizes these efforts by selecting a grand-prize winner who exemplifies our mission to improve lives and communities. Volunteer Recognition winners choose charities to which the Elevance Health Foundation awards special grants.
